Songs for the shut-ins of 2020. The kind of music playlist you listen to while laying on the couch with a glass of wine, all wrapped up in your feelings. This is life in the time of Corona.

I shot this one a while back. Had such a fun time working with Angela from Lost Angeles Style. Angela is a Los Angeles native and expert personal stylist with a passion for helping people who live in marginalized bodies develop a personal style. Definitely the person to reach out to for an intuitive and inclusive personal styling session.

For this shoot we took to the streets of downtown LA and paired her choice of outfit with the city's personality. From the lines and curves of the Disney Concert Hall, to the classic look of The Bradbury Building, to the underground indie feel of The Last Bookstore, we had a lot of fun running around and getting to know these iconic LA destinations all over again.

I remember the bloom

crimson on a stark white shirt

pressed for Sunday service

backdrop of a summer stoop

a pyre of screams and sirens

calling out to Gods

who never came

then the rain

your slumped body slipping

from the cross

our block wore on its back

petals dripping from your chest

into the palms of fallen angels

a peace offering

a plea

a lesson
